Fuel filler security Tank Protect with anti-splash valve (screw-in under cap, Scania post-2012), part no. TP600025K
TANK PROTECT fuel filler security made of aluminium. Designed for HGV units with an internal fuel filler diameter of 60 mm. Internal version, screw-in under the cap. No flange means the unit does not take up extra space where access to the fuel filler is restricted. Can be used in trucks originally equipped with an anti-splash valve (remove it and install the security unit in its place). No need to replace the cap, the OEM cap will fit. Mounting kit and dedicated anti-splash valve included.
Tank Protect security advantages:
- smaller mesh openings compared to competitor units,
- higher fuel flow rate (120 l/min), preventing nozzle kickback during refuelling (competitor products usually have real throughput up to 90 l/min),
- additional internal metal mesh preventing insertion of even very thin objects,
- relatively low profile of the unit, reducing the amount of fuel that can be siphoned from a full tank,
- quick and straightforward install.
