Description
Power inverter 600W (peak power), modified sine wave 12V 230V 50Hz, part no. 22S80300122
The inverter is designed to power electrical and electronic devices requiring 230V AC voltage from batteries and vehicle electrical systems with 12V DC voltage. SKYLED inverters are made of the highest quality materials. They feature a modern design and simple, intuitive operation.
Technical data of the inverter:
- Inverter type: modified sine wave
- Peak power: 600W
- Continuous power: 300W
- Battery voltage: 12V
- Frequency: 50Hz
- Efficiency: 95%
- Cooling type: fan
- USB port: yes
- Low battery protection: yes
- Overheat protection: yes
- Short circuit protection: yes
The inverter generates a so-called modified sine wave at the output. This is an AC voltage with a rectangular waveform, whose RMS value is identical to that of the sinusoidal waveform found in the power grid. Thanks to this method of voltage generation, it is possible to significantly reduce the price and increase the reliability of the device.
The inverter works perfectly with electronic and electrical devices of a resistive nature, such as:
- heaters,
- light bulbs,
- power supplies,
- household appliances (toaster, sandwich maker, shaver)
- etc.
The set includes:
- inverter
- cables
- manual
- cigarette lighter cable
Quick knowledge:
What device do you want to connect to the inverter?
- If you want to connect an inductive device (e.g. central heating pump motor, compressor fridge), you should choose a "pure sine wave" inverter.
- If you want to connect resistive devices (e.g. heater, bulbs), you can safely choose a standard inverter with a "modified sine wave".
Applications of modified sine wave inverter:
- RTV equipment (TVs, tuners, Hi-Fi, DVD)
- Office equipment (printers, fax machines, computers, monitors)
- Household appliances (toaster, sandwich maker, shaver)
- Lighting (LED, halogen, garden lamps, bulbs)
Possible issues:
- Some TVs – appearance of lines on the screen
- Laptops, computers – if the power supply does not have active PFC, buzzing or overheating may occur
- Devices with commutator motors, some power tools – problems with speed regulation may occur
Do not use with:
- Devices using induction motors – e.g. fridges, pumps, air conditioners. For such devices, a pure sine wave inverter is required.
- Capacitive devices used for charging – e.g. smartphones, tablets
For such devices, a pure sine wave inverter should be used.
