Utility-45 is a heavy-duty work lamp upgraded in 2018 to deliver even better visibility, higher intensity and improved light spread, creating a safer and more productive working environment. The 50 lux line, defined by HSE as the effective lighting level for outdoor night work, is achieved at a distance of 16 m with a spread of 10 m (mounted at a height of 3 m angled downward at 20 degrees). Combined with design features maximising functionality and reliability, this is a product you can rely on to deliver exceptional performance every time, regardless of application.
Continuous improvement and implementation of the latest and most efficient LED technology means the Utility series stands out from other work lamps. Four high-density LEDs produce 4560 lumens, utilised through ultra-reflective vacuum-metallised optics designed and engineered in the United Kingdom using advanced CAD design software and light simulation technology. The result is more light distributed across a wider area, while carefully selected LED colour temperatures have been proven to maximise clarity while reducing fatigue and strain associated with higher colour ranges.
Consistently high light output is maintained through the innovative CAE-optimised “Matrix” cooling system; the increased surface area ensures heat generated during operation is dissipated more effectively from the unit. This process maximises light output over longer periods, while the electronic thermal management system optimises performance according to the lamp’s environmental and thermal conditions.
Beyond lighting performance, the Utility series is engineered for durability and resistance in the harshest conditions. The hard-coated polycarbonate lens is now bonded in place to guarantee waterproof protection and, in line with the comprehensive 5-year warranty*, the lamps have been thoroughly tested for compliance with EU regulations regarding vibration, shock and corrosion resistance. Alongside the ultra-rugged construction, advanced electronic design provides full EMC protection in accordance with CISPR-25 (Class 3).
